CONNECTING PEOPLE, PLACES AND PARKS

The Harry Witty Memorial Park Portage River Water Trail access site features a Board Safe Kayak Launch chute, and beautiful shade trees perfect for a picnic lunch and a peaceful rest.

The North Coast Inland Trail traverses through four counties, and is a portion of US Bike Route 30.

Bike Safety Camp

There are a few spots left for Bike Safety Camp on

July 30 from 10AM-Noon

at Hopfinger Zimmerman Memorial Park!

This FREE camp for Ottawa County children ages 7-12 teaches skills in bicycle maintenance, maneuverability, nutrition, and more!

Ottawa County is home to several outdoor recreation destinations. As a way to highlight these destinations, the Park District of Ottawa County teamed up with the Ottawa County Health Department to offer the Outdoor Hiking Challenge program which ran from September 3 – November 30, 2024.
