CONNECTING PEOPLE, PLACES AND PARKS

Islander Woods and Trailhead UPDATE!

{{brizy_dc_image_alt imageSrc=
{{brizy_dc_image_alt imageSrc=
Construction has begun for the Park District of Ottawa County’s debut park in Catawba Island Township!

When complete, this new park area will provide a scenic nature trail around Bob’s Pond, a Nature Play area, fishing

access, a wildlife observation area, native vegetation restoration, interpretive signage, picnic tables, a drinking fountain and water bottle fill station, and a seven-car accessible parking area.

We will continue to provide updates as Contractor D2 Excavating performs work at the site. The park area is currently closed to the public, and all Park District of Ottawa County Rules and Regulations are in place.

For questions on this active construction project, please contact the Park District of Ottawa County at (419) 707-4051.
