Gary Kohli is a long time resident of Oak Harbor, Ohio and has been a Park District of Ottawa County Commissioner since 2016. He is currently the President of the Park District Board. Gary was a member of the Steering Committee which worked with the Ottawa County Commissioners in 2018 to develop the Ottawa County Active Transportation Plan, with the purpose of building consensus on a clear county-wide vision for safe, use-oriented bicycle/pedestrian facilities. Gary is a lawyer who worked in private practice at a small law firm from 1972 to May 2017. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Ohio State University followed by a law degree from the University of Toledo School of Law. Gary was the Ottawa County Clerk of Court of Common Pleas from November 2012 through December 2020.
