Project Name: Pickleball Courts and Basketball Hoop
Project Location: Benton Township
The courts have quickly become a valued addition to the community of Benton Township. The facility was officially opened on June 26, 2026, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony held as part of a celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence. A large crowd attended, and the township trustees and fiscal officer had the honor of cutting the ribbon to mark the occasion.
The project has created a welcoming space for recreation, exercise and fellowship, and it is
already making a positive impact. A comment shared on the Benton Township Facebook page reflects the community’s enthusiasm: “Just wanted to thank those involved with the new pickleball courts at Graytown Park. Seven of us came this morning and used the courts. We have played in quite a few places and this is definitely one of the nicest! You thought of everything and we will all be back. Great job!”
Thank you for helping bring this project to life and for enhancing the quality of life in our township. The new courts are a meaningful and lasting addition to Benton Township.
